I made a simple penne pasta. Leo ate the veggies in the sauce and said “vegetables are delicious”! Never thought I’d hear those words from his mouth. <success_kid.gif>

This post by Travis about his first time abroad in Japan 20 years ago really resonates with me. It reminds me so much of mine 16 years ago I thought I'd share a few photos from my Panasonic DMC-FX01.

Sometimes I think I should run Linux and WindowMaker or some such on my aging Macbook. Get rid of the cloud stuff that "simplifies" things but really just adds more complexity. But also, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Making some overnight white bread. Going to cut the dough in two and bake half in the morning and let the other half chill in the fridge a couple days and sour up a bit.

I feel like I've been a bit distant from the IndieWeb community lately (since I got back from Houston?). I should be reading more books, writing more blogs, and tweaking my website. Life happens and I reckon I'll be more active again in another few weeks.

It’s warming up so we didn’t use the heat last night and my battery lasted through morning 🎉

Leo’s asking some deep questions. Things like “When we die, does this mean we can’t live in Japan”. Oof.

Sims back in their appropriate location and bags off with the delivery folks so we’re relatively hands free on the way home.

Seems like they still have the same number of staff for quarantine as they did 6 months ago when things were strict. Heaps of people just standing there watching you.
