The Week #330

by
  • 🎃 Halloween came and went. No trick-or-treating (as this is Japan), but Leo dressed up as Woody from Toy Story and wore it to English class. The costume we bought years ago finally fit him 😀.
  • 🥋 I saw Street Fighter with Leo –in Japanese. If we had watched it last week we could have seen it at my local theater in English, but alas. I don't think anyone goes in to a Street Fighter movie for the story, you go for action, and on that it delivered. And it's setup for a sequel as well. It took place in the early 90's so all of the music was on point.
  • 👴 Speaking of the 90's and feeling old, I managed to foolishly do my back by losing form while lifting. A trip to the ortho and it's almost back to normal. But I think I've added bent over rows with to my forbidden list and will replace them with dumbbell rows from here on.
  • 🤖 It's not a huge expense, but I'm thinking of getting a subscription to Claude. I am enjoying trying to run models locally, but also wouldn't it be great to be able to do more faster? Especially that MicroPub client for 3DS I've been thinking about.
