I also want to make sure StarrWulfe is held down over there so squatters don’t grab it and start doing nefarious things with my self-coined, long-held handle.
I had similar worries as well, especially as my handle was my full name. But then I had the realization that my actual handle is my domain. And I don't create accounts everywhere possible e.g. country specific social media platforms just in-case someone does nefarious things, so why is Twitter any different? Lastly, having on famichiki.jp (foreigners in Japan crowd) and bird.makeup (follow twitter accounts on mastodon...for the stragglers) really solidified my need to not "need" it.
