• Since I've started running almost everyday it a) (oddly) seems more sustainableΒ  and b) puts me within spitting distance of hitting my 100 runs for the year.
  • Not that I’ll be posting after each run, but I Β did an easy 30 minutes this morning. Fuji looked fabulous in the pink morning sky. πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ
  • It's been a month since I've done any "proper" rides and even longer since I've run.Β  But I like the idea of becoming one of those people that runs everyday rain or shine. I think the "secret" isn't motivation, because motivation comes and goes, but rather building a routine. Running x times per week means you can adjust to a different day and then miss it. Daily might be a better way to build the habit.
  • I posted this last year, too. But the ajisai season is my season. Better than cherry blossoms, imo.

    Post run Ajisai

  • Finally cool enough to start running. My real motivation is to just stare at this beauty. #yokohama
    Mt. Fuji without snow
  • Just past Shimoida station off the subway. Still blows my mind this is Yokohama. Nice 10k to round off the week and get my monthly goal kms in. πŸƒπŸ™ŒπŸ»

  • Nakata sunrise set. 5km at 5am. πŸƒπŸ™ŒπŸ»

  • Good morning 5km. Running at 5am in autumn is a bit lonely. Not as many runners (near zero) to pressure me in to going just a bit further/faster. πŸƒ

  • A quick run after work. Glad I ran with my reflective slap wristband as it’s getting dark so early these days. Also too many old dudes without masks. πŸƒ
