by JamesDeeper interactions require time. The indie web has to be slow in order to be effective. No one is going to browse through the last 10 years of your Twitter timeline but I often end up reading 10+ years old blog posts on personal websites. That's the power of the indie web in my opinion.
This was exactly what I was thinking when I wrote The Slow Web. The Indieweb is slow-food for the web. -

by JamesI don't follow YCombinator investments (though I spend too much time on HN), but the first company on Demo Day is a company meant to increase production of oil & gas wells. The exact opposite of what we should be doing right now. Disappointing.
